    Academy faults former leader on credentials, salary

    Says Berlowitz inflated credentials, pushed pay to unreasonable level

    The American Academy of Arts and Sciences released a scathing report on its former president, concluding that Leslie Berlowitz exaggerated her resume and manipulated the compensation process to boost her pay by roughly $2.2 million over her 17-year-tenure.     The American Academy of Arts & Sciences issued a letter to its members Monday with a summary of its investigation concerns about its former president, Leslie Berlowitz.
