Police seize 25 grams of heroin during Taunton traffic stop

State Police seized 25 grams of heroin during a motor vehicle stop in Taunton Thursday night, State Police said.

Trooper Paul Dunderdale was patrolling Oak Street about 7 p.m. Thursday when he stopped a Hyundai for speeding. When performing a search of the car, troopers found 25 grams of heroin and $2,500 in cash.


They arrested Kevin Miles, 38, of Lakeville and Kevin Cambria, 29, of Taunton, the car’s two occupants.

Miles was charged with conspiracy to violate drug laws, knowingly being present where heroin is kept, and speeding. Cambria is being charged with trafficking heroin and conspiracy to violate drug laws.

Both men will be arraigned in Taunton District Court today.
