Hilltop cows find new home in Lynnfield

Marking the end of months of shuffling — being stolen, auctioned, and sold — the cows are finally coming home. The fiberglass bovines made famous by their perch outside the Hilltop Steakhouse in Saugus will now stand at MarketStreet in Lynnfield. When the legendary steakhouse closed in October, the Route 1 landmarks were auctioned off. This spring they were unveiled at the outlet mall, where they will be on display year-round. The cows will also host events, starting with an Easter Egg hunt Saturday.
