Two people stabbed at Dorchester barber shop

Two people were taken to the hospital after a stabbing at a Dorchester barber shop this morning, police said.

Police responded to the Kiki Beyeza Barbershop at 602 Blue Hill Ave. at about 10:05 a.m.

Two people were taken to Boston Medical Center with injuries. Police did not provide information about their conditions.

Carlos Tatis, an employee at the barber shop, said the owner of the shop was stabbed by a robber.

“I heard the guy came in just after we opened,” he said. “But I think [the owner] is doing fine.” Tatis did not know who the second person was.

Boston police are investigating the incident. No further information was immediately available.
