Middleton firefighters doused a small fire at the Bostik Inc. chemical plant this afternoon, said firefighters.
The fire was reported at 2:53 p.m. and was extinguished by about 3:10 p.m., said a fire department dispatcher.
Firefighters remain at the scene to investigate the cause of the flames, said the dispatcher. No injuries were reported.
The chemical plant, located at 211 Boston St., was the site of an explosion in 2011 that injured four employees.
