Cambridge man arrested after car crashes into furniture store

A man was arrested on several charges early Saturday after the car he was driving crashed into a Cambridge furniture store, police said.

Cambridge resident Jamie Knight, 37, was arrested for operating to endanger, possession of a firearm, and possession with intent to sell drugs after crashing into BoConcept at 999 Massachusetts Ave. at about 3:40 a.m. Saturday, authorities said.

One person was hurt when Knight allegedly struck another vehicle while backing out from the building, police spokesman Jeremy Warnick said.

A gun allegedly fell from the car when Knight was exiting his car after the crash, Warnick said. Police allegedly later found drugs on him.
