Hillary Clinton, seen as the top 2016 Democratic White House contender, is set to headline a conference in Boston today.
The former secretary of state and once-and-potential-future presidential candidate is expected to deliver a keynote address to the Simmons Leadership Conference, which bills itself as “the premier women’s leadership conference in the world.”
The former first lady’s remarks are scheduled for 4 p.m. and will be moderated by Helen Drinan, the president of Simmons College, which sponsors the conference. The event will be held at the Seaport World Trade Center.
Clinton, a former US Senator from New York who fell short of winning her party’s nomination for president in 2008, has not said whether she will run again for the nation’s highest office in 2016.
Clinton’s most succinct description of her future plans: “TBD.”
