Two men convicted in 2012 Dorchester slaying


Two Boston men were convicted by a Suffolk Superior Court jury Wednesday of first-degree murder and other offenses in an October 2012 slaying in a Dorchester residence, prosecutors said. Reginald Holley, 24, and Oasis Pritchett, 23, were convicted in the shooting death of Alfonso Rivas, 23, in a residence on Lyndhurst Street, the Suffolk district attorney’s said. The two stole marijuana and other items from the victim during a robbery, prosecutors said. Sentencing is set for 9 a.m. Thursday, prosecutors said.
