Malden man’s murder trial set for jury deliberations

Jury deliberations began today at Middlesex Superior Court in the murder trial of William Bryant Moseley of Malden, who is accused of killing his girlfriend in August 2012.

The prosecution and defense delivered their closing arguments this morning.

Moseley, 47, allegedly strangled Cecelia Yakubu, 58, on Aug. 10, 2012, at 33 Francis St. in Malden.

He was at the scene when police arrived and was arrested and arraigned that day, according to a statement from the Middlesex district attorney’s office, and indicted the next month on a charge of first-degree murder.

A spokeswoman for the district attorney and the court clerk’s office said they were not sure if the jury had begun deliberating yet.
