Reward grows for information in teen’s death

The reward being offered for information that leads to an arrest in the unsolved hit-and-run death of a Turner teenager has grown by $1,000. Xavier Fuentes, 16, was found by a passing motorist on an unlit stretch of Route 117 in Paris sometime before 8:30 p.m. March 15. Police believe he was struck by a large vehicle. The Sun Journal reported that Portland-based engineering company Woodard and Curran has donated an additional $1,000 to the $1,500 reward already being offered by Xavier’s family. Xavier’s mother works for the town of Oxford, and Woodard and Curran is designing the town’s proposed sewer system.
