Boston man pleads guilty in fatal crash

A Boston man has been sentenced to 18 months in jail and ordered deported to Peru after pleading guilty to driving drunk and causing a fatal accident in Lynn. Daniel Murillo-Robles pleaded guilty Monday to charges including motor vehicle homicide while operating under the influence in the October 2011 crash that killed Neil Buckley, 58, of Marblehead. Prosecutors said Murillo-Robles, 23, was driving to the beach with three friends when he crashed into Buckley’s van as the drummer was leaving a performance at the Lynn Yacht Club. The Daily Item reported that Buckley was taken to a hospital with severe burns and died.
