Beautiful weather in next couple of days for Mass.

It’s going to be another beautiful day in Massachusetts.

“We’re going to have bright, sunny skies today,” said National Weather Service meteorologist Alan Dunham.

High temperatures should be in the mid-60s this afternoon, slightly cooler along the coast. Skies will remain clear all day, with temperatures lowering into the 40s overnight.

Thursday will be similar, with mostly sunny skies and highs in the 60s. “There will be a very light northeast wind, so it will be cool right on the immediate shoreline,” Dunham said. Some clouds should arrive in the evening as temperatures sink to the high 40s.

Friday will start out mostly cloudy, with high temperatures in the lower 60s. Skies should become increasingly cloudy as we see the first signs of rain.

“Scattered showers are coming in Friday night,” Dunham said. “But by Saturday, it’s out.”

Light rain could start falling after midnight and into the overnight hours, as temperatures drop into the 50s.

This weekend will be a warm one, with temperatures expected to swing into the lower 70s both Saturday and Sunday, forecasters said.
