Boston police are asking for the public’s help in identifying two men who inflicted life-threatening head injuries on another man in an attack in Brighton early Saturday morning.
The victim and a friend were walking near 1350 Commonwealth Ave. around 12:38 a.m. Saturday when the two men “jumped and attacked’’ the victim, police said. Investigators had no motive for the assault.
Police described the two two men as black males, about 6 feet tall, with medium builds. One suspect was wearing a dark blue, hooded sweatshirt; the other wore a “burnt red” T-shirt and a red hat with the letter “C”on it. Police said the hat might be a Cincinnati Reds hat.
