The city has a nice day ahead, and Thursday doesn’t look so bad, either, forecasters said.
“There may not be as much rain as we thought initially,” said National Weather Service meteorologist Bill Simpson. “There could be some drizzle and light rain showers at times.”
Today will be mostly sunny and dry, with high temperatures climbing to around 70. Some clouds should roll in during the evening as temperatures sink into the lower 50s.
Thursday will be rainy and cooler. High temperatures should crest in the high 60s, a full 10 degrees below average, Simpson said. Scattered showers should persist throughout the day, dropping up to a quarter-inch of rain.
“Friday will probably be similar, so not that nice and maybe a chance of a few scattered showers,” Simpson said.
Skies will be cloudy with high temperatures around 60. Some clouds should disperse in the evening as temperatures sink to around 50.
