Police seeks public’s help locating suspect in Brighton assault

Boston police said Sunday they are looking for the person who assaulted a man, leaving him with life-threatening injuries on Chestnut Hill Avenue in Brighton early Friday morning.

The victim is in his early 20s, and officers found him suffering from head trauma near 354 Chestnut Hill Ave. at approximately 2 a.m., police said in a statement.

He was transported to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.

Police ask anyone with information about the incident to call 617-343-4470 or report a tip anonymously either by calling 800-494-8477 or texting the word ‘TIP’ to CRIME (27463).
