Sunny Thursday, rain likely heading into weekend

The region will be spared the showers today, and will have sunny skies and highs in the 60s. Some clouds should roll in during the evening as temperatures drop to 49 degrees.

Friday will start out cloudy but warmer, with high temperatures cresting in the high 60s. Showers are possible after 2 p.m. and continuing into the evening. Low temperatures should sink into the lower 50s overnight.

“There still could be some off-and-on showers Saturday, so Sunday looks to be the better of the two days,” Buttrick said.

High temperatures should climb into the mid-60s Saturday, with the possibility of some light rain during the day. Low temperatures should drop to the high 40s overnight.

Sunny and warm conditions should return Sunday, with high temperatures as high as the high 60s and low to mid-70s. Skies should remain clear into the evening as low temperatures sink into the mid-50s.
