Sunny and warm right through the weekend

It’s a beautiful day today, and it’s only going to get better, forecasters say.

“Saturday will be absolutely gorgeous,” said National Weather Service meteorologist Alan Dunham. “It’ll be a really beautiful day, and Sunday will be pretty much the same, and even a little bit warmer.”

Today will be sunny and dry in Boston, while areas near Gloucester and Salisbury could see some sprinkling rain before this afternoon. High temperatures should reach 72 degrees. Skies will remain mostly clear into the evening as temperatures lower to 59 degrees.

The weekend will start off on a warm, sunny note, with cloudless skies and high temperatures climbing to 81 degrees Saturday. Mostly clear skies will persist through the evening, with low temperatures in the mid-60s overnight.
