Showers and thunderstorms may pop up this afternoon, the National Weather Service says.
Today will be mostly cloudy and warmer than average, with high temperatures cresting in the upper 70s. Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected to start this afternoon and continue until 11 p.m. Low temperatures should drop to the 50s and 60s overnight.
Partly sunny skies will return Wednesday. High temperatures will reach the mid-60s and be warmer in the interior. Clouds should arrive in the evening as low temperatures sink into the 50s.
Some light showers could begin falling early Thursday, with cloudy skies and high temperatures in the upper 60s and low 70s. Skies should stay cloudy all day, with low temperatures in the low 60s overnight.
“There’s a better chance of more showers and thunderstorms on Friday,” Dunham said.
Showers are expected to start falling in the morning and continue through 2 p.m. Mostly cloudy skies should persist all day, with high temperatures reaching the low to mid-70s. Some scattered showers could fall in the evening as low temperatures start dropping into the 60s.
