A man was in stable condition after suffering minor injuries during a car collision with a moose in an unorganized territory in northern Maine. Jonathan Malone struck a female moose at midnight Wednesday in TA R2 WELS, a territory south of Linneus. Police said he suffered minor injuries to his forehead and refused medical treatment at the scene. Family then took him to the hospital. The moose significantly damaged the roof of Malone’s car. Police remind motorists that moose and deer are very active this time of year, especially at night.
