Rockland man accused of fatally stabbing his wife

A Rockland man was charged with fatally stabbing his wife Wednesday night, officials said. Richard Langley, 56, was arrested and charged with the murder of his wife, 52-year-old Patricia Langley, Plymouth District Attorney Timothy J. Cruz’s office said. Police received calls about a woman stabbed on Moncrief Road just after 7:30 p.m, Cruz’s office said. When officers arrived, Langley was lying in her driveway being tended to by neighbors. She was taken to a nearby hospital, where she was later pronounced dead. Richard Langley was arrested at the scene and will be arraigned on murder charges Thursday in Hingham District Court.
