Police received calls about a woman stabbed on Moncrief Road just after 7:30 p.m, Cruz’s office said in a statement. When officers arrived, Langley was lying in her driveway being tended to by neighbors. She was taken to a nearby hospital where she was later pronounced dead, the district attorney’s office said.

Richard Langley was arrested at the scene and will be arraigned on murder charges Thursday in Hingham District Court.
