Man beaten and robbed in home invasion

Police were searching Saturday for three men who beat and robbed a Stoughton man at gunpoint and then forced the victim’s brother into the apartment they shared, ransacking it, officials said. The incident took place shortly after 11 p.m. Friday on Bennett Drive. The victim was taken to Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton with minor injuries, Stoughton police said in a statement. It was not clear if the brother was injured. Police chased at least one of the suspects with several dogs and also with State Police. The suspects were described as a short heavy-set white male who spoke broken Spanish, a 6-foot white male with brown hair and a mustache, and a 5-foot-8 black male with a stocky build. All were wearing dark, uniform-type clothing, according to police. Anyone with information was asked to call 781-344-2424.
