Teen struck by car while crossing Scenic Highway


An 18-year-old man was taken by MedFlight to a Boston hospital this morning after a car struck him while he was crossing the Scenic Highway in Bourne, according to police.

Bourne police found the seriously injured man near the Bourne East Rotary around 9:30 a.m., the police department said in a statement.

The eastbound lanes of the Scenic Highway were shut down for 45 minutes, police said. The accident is currently under investigation and no further details were immediately available.
