Today should be sunny and warm, with high temperatures climbing to the mid-70s. Some clouds should roll in during the afternoon. Low temperatures are expected to sink into the 50s overnight, and into the high 40s in the interior.

The weekend should start out sunny, with high temperatures in the upper 70s Saturday. Skies should remain clear through the evening as temperatures start dropping to the 50s.

Similar conditions should appear Sunday, with high temperatures expected to reach the high 70s. Partly cloudy skies will appear in the evening. Low temperatures should drop into the 50s overnight.

Forecasters say dry and sunny conditions should persist through early next week.

“More humidity will mean showers by Tuesday evening in the western part of the state,” Simpson said. “But we’re good in greater Boston through at least Wednesday.”
