One killed, one hurt in Jamaica Plain shooting

One man was shot to death and another injured in Jamaica Plain early Sunday morning, police said. Officers found the men with gunshot wounds around 1:50 a.m. near the corner of School and Arcadia streets, police said in a statement. Both men were taken to Brigham and Women’s Hospital, where one of them was pronounced dead. The other man is expected to survive, police said. Police said the men were both 24 but did not release their identities. No further information on the incident, which police do not believe was random, or on the victims was immediately available.
