Clouds cleared, forecasters predict a beautiful weekend

The clouds have cleared, and forecasters say “near perfect” weather is expected to arrive this weekend and stick around until early next week.

“There might be some fair weather clouds, but for the most part, it will be mostly sunny,” said National Weather Service meteorologist Bill Simpson. “We probably won’t see rain until late Tuesday night or Wednesday.”

Today will be sunny and dry, with high temperatures climbing into the mid-70s. Skies are expected to stay clear through the evening, with low temperatures sinking into the upper 50s overnight.

The weekend should begin on a similar note, with sunny skies and high temperatures reaching into the lower 80s. Mostly clear skies should persist in the evening as low temperatures drop to the low 60s.

Some light clouds could arrive Sunday, though skies should stay mostly sunny. High temperatures are expected to crest in the low 80s before swinging down into the 60s overnight. More clouds are expected to arrive in the evening.
