Man found dead inside East Boston home

Boston police officers found a man who had been shot multiple times dead inside his East Boston home Sunday afternoon, police said.

Officers were at the house on Brandywyne Drive to perform a well-being check and discovered his body at 1:53 p.m., police said in a statement.


The man, who appeared to be in his mid-30s, was pronounced dead at the scene. His name was not released.

The incident remained under investigation Sunday night.
