Court OK’s $5m lien on Aaron Hernandez’s real estate

A judge has approved a $5 million lien on any real estate Aaron Hernandez owns, a legal attachment that had been sought by relatives of two Boston men the former New England Patriots player is accused of murdering in Boston in 2012.

According to court records, Suffolk Superior Court Judge Bonnie McLeod approved the attachment of any real estate Hernandez owns on behalf of relatives of Daniel Abreu and gave her conditional approval for relatives of Safiro Furtado once a personal representative is chosen.
