A 28-year-old Boston man was charged with assault with intent to rape Saturday after allegedly assaulting a woman on an Orange Line train, Transit Police said. The victim was assaulted between the Jackson Square and Roxbury Crossing T stops about 4 p.m., Lieutenant Richard Sullivan said. MBTA officials held the train at the Roxbury Crossing station, did not let any passengers off the train, and the victim identified the suspect, Sullivan said. The man, whose name was not released, was arrested and is expected to be arraigned Monday in Roxbury District Court.
