A man was arrested Tuesday night after allegedly breaking into the Kennedy Compound in Hyannis Port, Barnstable police said. Police responded to the home on Irving Avenue at about 9:30 p.m. after receiving a call from the owner, who reported that an intruder had answered the phone at the compound when he had called to check on his son from his Connecticut home. Officers located the intruder in the home and he was arrested and charged with breaking and entering in the daytime, police said. When asked why he was there, James Lacroix, 53, said he was looking for pop singer Katie Perry, police said.
