Man, woman shot in early-morning fight outside Revere bar

A man and a woman were shot early this morning after a fight erupted outside Boulevard, a bar facing Revere Beach, a Suffolk District Attorney’s Office spokesman said in a statement.

The man, 33, and woman, 36, were taken to Massachusetts General Hospital and are expected to survive, according to the statement.

The fight broke out on the sidewalk in front of Boulevard, 320 Revere Beach Boulevard. Police, who arrived just before 2:15 a.m., do not believe the people who were shot were a part of the fight, said Jake Wark, spokesman for the Suffolk district attorney.

No other injuries were reported, and police have not arrested any suspects.

Anyone with information about the fight can call State Police detectives at 617-727-8817 or Revere Police detectives at 781-286-8340.
