Three teenagers are dead and one was seriously injured after a car slammed into a tree Sunday morning in Unity, N.H., splitting the vehicle in two, New Hampshire State Police said.
The victims were in a 1997 Saab 9000 on West Unity Road at 2:10 a.m. when the driver lost control of the vehicle, New Hampshire State Police said in a statement.
Brittany Bailey, 18, of Claremont, N.H., and two unidentified 17-year-olds, including the driver of the car, died of injuries at the scene, the statement said.
Another unidentified 17 year old was transported to a hospital. Speed was a factor in the crash, New Hampshire State Police said, but drugs and alcohol were not.
