One person killed in crash in Raynham late Friday

An East Taunton man died in a two-car crash late Friday night on Route 44 in Raynham cq, authorities said.

Brian D. Spillane, 42, was killed in the crash while driving his 1968 Mercury Cougar westbound, according to a statement from Raynham police.

Veronica King, 22, of Raynham and Isiah Moore, 23, of Attleboro were in a Hyundai Tucson SUV traveling eastbound and transported to Rhode Island Hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening.

The crash occurred at approximately 11:30 p.m. near Narragansett Drive.

The Bristol County district attorney’s office is investigating, police said. No additional information was immediately available.
