Framingham State suspends 4 after sex assaults reported

Four students at Framingham State University have been suspended in connection with two alleged sexual assaults over the weekend, officials said.

The female victim said the assaults occurred Saturday night and Sunday morning at an off-campus residence and then in an on-campus room of an acquaintance, according to a statement Monday by the university police.

Daniel Magazu, a spokesman for the university, said that he does not recall an instance at the university where so many students were accused in a sexual assault case.

According to Framingham State police, the alleged perpetrators have been identified by the school and received interim suspensions.
