Commissioner Evans honored by Suffolk University

Boston Police Commissioner William Evans was honored Saturday by Suffolk University as an outstanding alumnus, officials said. Evans, who received the school’s Achievement Award, was among 10 alumni honored, according to a statement from the university. He received the award during a reception held at the Boston Children’s Museum, as part of Suffolk’s homecoming weekend. “The awards recognize the dedicated leadership and inspiring philanthropy of Suffolk’s Summa and Frost Society members,” the statement said.
