Planned Parenthood League of Massachusetts president and chief executive Marty Walz resigned Wednesday in a phone call to the organization’s board chairman.
Officials said Walz was in “active dialogue” with other organizations.
The former Democratic state representative had held the post since early 2013.
Board member and former judge Nonnie Burnes will succeed Walz on an interim basis while the group looks for a permanent successor, according to a Planned Parenthood memo.
