The parade, which starts at 11 a.m. Wednesday and will include more than 20 duck boats, will start at the Prudential Tower and end at City Hall. The parade had been set for Tuesday but was delayed by a day because of bad weather.
Mayor Martin Walsh said the parade couldn’t be delayed more because Patriots players will depart the Boston area.
“This has been a tradition in the city of Boston,’’ Walsh said Tuesday.
Forecasters said temperatures will be in the 20s Wednesday with wind chill values in the teens. Flurries are possible.
Meanwhile, the city has been removing snow from recent storms, although snow will remain along the route and nearby. Driving and parking will be challenging.
And the MBTA has been contending with delays, meaning parade attendees should make their travel arrangements accordingly and plan to depart for the event early.
