‘Bullpen cop’ Steve Horgan celebrates with Patriots fans

What good would a Boston championship celebration be without America’s favorite sports-loving cop?

Steve Horgan, the Boston police officer famous for his arms-up jubilation in the Fenway Park bullpen after David Ortiz’s series-turning grand slam in the 2013 ALCS, was on the scene at the Patriots Super Bowl victory parade.

Police shared a photo, taken by the Boston Herald, which showed the bearded officer wearing a fluorescent vest and talking with a woman holding a sign that offered her eternal affection to tight end Rob Gronkowski.

“Marry me Gronk,” the sign said. “Pre-nup? ‘OK’”
