Police on Saturday discovered three bodies in two homes in Boothbay Harbor, Maine, according to the Portland Press Herald.
The bodies of two men and one woman were discovered after Boothbay Harbor Police conducted a well-being check at one of the homes, Stephen McCausland, spokesman for the Maine Department of Public Safety, told the Press Herald.
Two of the bodies were discovered on Lakeside Drive, and the other was found a mile away at a home on Montgomery Road. Boothbay Harbor is located about 50 miles northeast of Portland.
Police believe the victims are related, McCausland told the Press Herald. State Police detectives were on the scene around midday Saturday.
