Two people were arraigned on Monday for allegedly stealing a man’s car, wallet, and cellphone at knifepoint, officials said.
Guy Ahart, 50, and Kaisha Peryman, 35, were charged with carjacking and armed robbery, and pleaded not guilty at their arraignments in Roxbury District Court on Monday, said Jake Wark, spokesman for Suffolk District Attorney Daniel F. Conley. Ahart was held on $50,000 cash bail, and Peryman was held on $30,000.
At about 7:30 a.m. on Sunday, Ahart and Peryman allegedly approached a 52-year-old driver who had pulled over at the corner of Blue Hill Avenue and West Cottage Street to adjust his GPS, Boston police wrote on their website.

Ahart and Peryman approached the vehicle from either side, police said, and were each holding a knife while demanding the victim hand over his wallet.
When the driver got out of the car, police said, the suspects jumped in and fled. Officers found them at about 1 p.m. with the stolen car in the area of 8 Folsom St., just a few miles away.
Though Ahart attempted to leave the scene when he saw the officers, police said, both suspects were ultimately arrested.
Ahart and Peryman were also ordered Monday to stay away from the victim, wear a GPS device, and abide by a curfew of 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. if released, Wark said.
