Officials are asking drivers to seek alternate routes for the evening commute after a tractor-trailer rolled over on the Massachusetts Turnpike near Exit 11 in Millbury Tuesday afternoon.

The trailer turned over near an overpass just after 2:30 p.m., forcing the closure of multiple eastbound lanes, State Police said. One lane remains closed.

Minor injuries have been reported.

State Police estimated that it would take four hours to clean up the crash. It will take several hours to offload the trailer as well, State Police said.

The Millbury Fire Department and Massachusetts Department of Transportation responded, along with State Police.

About an hour later farther down the Turnpike in Blandford, a tractor-trailer carrying liquid coffee rolled over, forcing closure of the right lane, said Trooper Paul Sullivan, a State Police spokesman.

He said that crash could add some traffic to the Pike in the western part of the state near the New York border.
