The number of minors found to have illegally purchased alcohol at a single Boston store over St. Patrick’s Day weekend, the state’s Alcoholic Beverage Control Commission says. Investigators said they seized some 49 cases of beer and 134 bottles of other alcohol bought at the Quality Mart on Massachusetts Avenue. Investigators also confiscated 112 fake IDs. The operation kicked off the commission’s “Operation Safe Spring” campaign.
