22-year-old killed in Fall River motorcycle crash

A 22-year-old man was killed Thursday night when his motorcycle veered into a guardrail and threw him into the air on Route 24 in Fall River, State Police said.

The crash occurred at 10:25 p.m., police said in a statement.


Joshua Silva of Seekonk was pronounced dead at the scene.

Silva’s 2006 EX650 motorcycle was found a quarter of a mile away from his body, State Police said.

The incident is under investigation, state Police said.
