Authorities are investigating the “suspicious death” of a 30-year-old Lowell man whose body was found near the intersection of Concord Road and Technology Park Drive in Billerica Wednesday morning.
Middlesex District Attorney Marian T. Ryan’s office said in a statement that the man’s body was found around 5:30 a.m. Wednesday. “This is an open and active investigation and no additional information is being released at this time,’’ the statement said.
The victim’s identity had not been released as of Wednesday night.
Billerica police tweeted around 9:30 a.m. Wednesday that Concord Road had been reopened, some two hours after it was closed to drivers while officers conducted an on-scene investigation.
Technology Park Road leads to an industrial park that includes a Raytheon Co. facility. Police said businesses in the park are still open and are accessible from the northern end of Technology Park Drive.
