A fire that broke out at an Ashland restaurant early Wednesday morning was intentionally set, officials said.
The fire started after 5 a.m. Wednesday at the Fusion Cuisine restaurant at 12 Pond St., in Ashland.
State Fire Marshal spokeswoman Jennifer Mieth was unsure of the extent of damage to Fusion caused by the fire, but said in an email she believed it to be “minimal.”
The fire is being investigated by Ashland police and fire departments and State Police assigned to the State Fire Marshal’s office.
Anyone with information on the fire can call the confidential state Arson Hotline at 800-682-9229. The state Arson Watch Reward Program offers up to $5,000 for information that helps to solve an arson case.
