It’s gonna be a nice one.

Skies will be sunny, temperatures will be seasonally appropriate, and humidity won’t be noticeable on Thursday, the National Weather Service said.

“Will be a cooler day than it has been for the last several days, running close to seasonal normals for mid October,’’ forecasters wrote, adding that high temperatures will be in the mid 60s across the region. “Should see mainly sunny skies by around midday.”

But for most of the rest of the state, temperatures early Friday morning will be in the 30s, leading the weather service to issue a frost advisory for “most of Massachusetts away from the immediate coast.”

The advisory is in effect from 3 a.m. until 8 a.m. Friday, forecasters said. “A Frost Advisory means that widespread frost is expected,’’ forecasters wrote. “Sensitive outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered.”

There will be warm-up for the weekend with temperatures in the 70s and a return of higher levels of humidity, forecasters wrote. “Warmer & more humid this weekend,’’ forecasters wrote. “Few showers possible Sat/Sun, especially Sun night.”
