A 52-year-old man and his wife died after a head-on collision between his motorcycle and a car in northern Maine. State Police say Allen Rossignol of Woodland was driving his motorcycle on Route 161 in Cross Lake Township shortly after noon Sunday when he drifted into the lane of an oncoming car. He and his wife, 50-year-old Judy Rossignol, were thrown from the motorcycle. Police say Allen Rossignol died from injuries while being taken to Northern Maine Medical Center in Fort Kent. Judy Rossignol died after arriving at the hospital. Both were wearing helmets. The driver of the car was taken to Cary Medical Center in Caribou for treatment of a cut to her leg. (AP)
