Man killed when truck crashes into Maine Pizza Hut

Police said the driver of a logging truck was killed when it rolled over before slamming into the front of a Pizza Hut in central Maine. Police said the crash around 10:30 a.m. Monday in Skowhegan happened before the restaurant opened for the day. The Morning Sentinel identified the victim as Michael Morin, 60, owner of Mike Morin Tree-Length Firewood. The newspaper said it is unclear whether anyone else was in the restaurant at the time. Skowhegan Police Chief Ted Blais said the accident is under investigation.
