Henry Ruth, prosecutor during Watergate scandal; at 80

Henry Ruth, who was a key figure in the federal investigation of the Watergate scandal in the 1970s and who spent a year leading the special prosecutor’s office examining wrongdoing in the Nixon administration, died March 16.
