Photographer and videographer Robert Raymond, 59

Robert Raymond worked as a videographer and engineer, and was assistant director of the Boston Film/Video Foundation, but his most lasting legacy may exist in the more than 25,000 photographs he shot of artists. For three decades, he recorded live performances for the Boston-based Mobius Artists Group, capturing new and returning artists in a collection he meticulously archived. “His commitment to his work and to all of his activities was so unparalleled,’’ said Jed Speare, director of Mobius.
